Non-contact Static Electricity Sensor Meter ET-101 is suitable for measuring the electrostatic voltage (potential) of a charged object, such as the electrostatic potential of a conductor, an insulator, and a human body. It can also measure the liquid level potential and detect the performance of anti-static products. It is widely used in the measurement of static electricity in petroleum, chemical, oil depot, fire, electronics, national defense, aerospace, natural gas, printing, textile, printing and dyeing, rubber, plastics, spraying, medicine and other scientific research, production, storage and transportation safety management departments. Measuring the surface potential of an object
Boot and clear Turn the power switch to the ON position away from the object to be measured (preferably 1 m away from the object to be measured) or at a potential of zero (such as a grounded metal body or near the ground). The displayed value should be zero or close to zero ( The number at the end is preferably not more than 3]. If it is not zero, turn the switch back to the OFF position (clear and shutdown in the same position, push hard when pushing forward) and then dial back to the ON position.
Since the sensitivity and resolution of the digital meter are higher than that of the pointer meter, it is susceptible to the surrounding static electricity and the operator's charging. When the test button is pressed, sometimes the display is not "000" , but the measurement error can be ignored . If the measurement results are more accurate, the initial reading can be subtracted from the measurement reading.
Measurement and reading Move the meter from far to near to a distance of 10 cm from the object being measured (calculate the measured distance from the groove at the front of the meter) and read the meter reading in KV. When the voltage of the measured object changes, the reading also changes.
