1. Measurement method
Notes:
★ Ensure that the tested material itself is not charged
★ The placement point of the heavy hammer electrode should be at least 5cm away from the edge of the material
★ The placement point of the heavy hammer electrode should be at least 7.62cm away from the grounding terminal on the material
When testing the point-to-point resistance of the test table, the distance between the two heavy hammer electrodes is more than 25.4cm
★ When testing ground point to point resistance, the electrodes of two heavy hammers should be spaced at least 100cm apart
The placement points of the heavy hammer electrode are usually taken at the following positions to better evaluate whether the material is qualified
Most commonly used locations
Places with severe wear and tear
Center position
Location far from the grounding point
★ If the tested material has seams, such as block flooring, clothing, etc., two heavy hammers should be placed separately in different splicing blocks
When testing materials in the laboratory, they can be pre cleaned. For materials that have been laid on site and put into operation, do not clean them before testing. Only clean them and retest them if they fail the test.
★ When testing, first connect the test meter and electrode, place the electrode on top of the tested material, and then press the test button
★ According to personal usage habits, set a reasonable automatic shutdown time (default of 3 minutes) to save battery consumption
